Gerry started his career in 1973 from School to R J Love and Partners as a Quantity Surveyor in addition to being a part-time student at Ulster University at Jordanstown for his HND in Building Surveying.
After deciding on a career change to construction, Gerry started in McLaughlin and Harvey Limited in 1980. After a successful career with McLaughlin & Harvey, he moved to MIVAN Construction in 1984 where he held the position of Chief Quantity Surveyor.
In 1987 Gerry set up Mascott Construction.

Along with his partner Robert Scott, Gerry oversaw the development of Mascott Construction from infancy to £15m turnover and one of the major Construction Companies in Northern Ireland.
Gerry takes the overall decision on appointment of office staff/resources, authorising payments of salaries and invoices to customers and clients.
Gerry also takes responsibility for maintaining and developing contracts with existing clients and fostering relationships with new clients to ensure the future success of the Company. |
