11 March 2009: The final session of local association meetings with MLA’s took place on Tuesday 10 March with the AGM of the Belfast Builders Association. The meeting was well attended and this gave the CEF staff officials an opportunity to brief members on recent work and lobbying by the CEF, particularly on infrastructure spend, procurement and planning reform.
The First Minister was due to attend but had to change plans at short notice. He was represented by Robin Newton MLA.
At the AGM, Michael Graham (Graham) was elected as the new President of the Association and Gerry McEvoy (Mascott Construction) was elected as the new Vice President.
