MTC Framework, South East Belfast
An example from this Framework was the Braniel Phase 2 MTC contract for 114 Housing Executive dwellings requiring modernisation which included new kitchen installation, bathroom replacements, associated mechanical and electrical works and redecoration.
This contract was unique due to the volume of units, which had to be completed within an accelerated programme of 10 weeks, which was originally programmed for 27 weeks which restricted each unit to a five day installation schedule, with the added benefit of minimised impact and disruption to the occupier.
Our site management team produced a detailed programme, reviewed the specification, surveyed the properties pre-construction with the individual tenants, facilitiating colour choices etc., consultation with the tenants enabled mutually convenient access and work scheduling.
During the programme, the individual work teams and specialist sub-contractors were co-ordinated and monitored, with the overriding culture that the workers treated the tenant residences as if they were their own homes.
This resulted in Tenant Satisfaction rates between 96%-100% and the achievement of the Client brief (time, cost, quality) without defect and/or H&S incident.
We also provided a 24/7/365 response to defects service, managing a helpdesk and database to monitor and drive timely completion of all allocated tasks.
