This project was for a major extension to an existing shopping centre, built within one of Northern Irelands busiest “out of town” shopping areas.
Situated directly beside a major national retailer, Mascott successfully delivered this scheme on time and to budget, through a carefully planned site logistics and programme of works and maintaining regular dialogue with adjacent businesses.
The scope of works included the erection of a steel framed building, external façade to mirror the existing building of brickwork, aluminium glazed curtain walling, aluminium panelled façade and an Insulated metal roof covering.
Internally Mascott delivered the new concrete floor with array of timber, vinyl and ceramic finishes, the internal decoration and provision of the extensive mechanical and electrical services of internal and external lighting, plumbing, heating, refrigeration and ventilation services air handling units and chiller units at roof level complete with all grillages.
Working alongside client direct contractors for the merchandising of the new store and with Iceland and the provision of their new section for fresh and frozen groceries, Mascott successfully delivered this overall scheme in 29 weeks incorporating a 9 week fit out period.
