Situated within the Magee College campus of the University of Ulster, Mascott successfully delivered the internal refurbishment and remodelling to an existing building within a live teaching environment.
Our Client had a very limited timeframe of 7 weeks to undertake this project due to their need to provide training to nurses both nationally and internationally and dedicated time slots were already in place once works were completed.
Structural alterations and removal of redundant mechanical and electrical services and removal of old wall, floor and ceiling finishes preceded the formation of new partition walls, forming new offices, teaching rooms, nursing bays and stores plus provision of new wall, floor and ceiling finishes throughout.
Mechanical and electrical services included provision of new water, ventilation and public health systems, new sanitary installations along with new power, data, fire alarm, emergency lighting and door access systems.
Careful pre-planning and interaction with key stakeholders and our supply chain ensured we completed this project on time.
