Gareth Loye

Gareth was appointed to the Board of Mascott as Chief Executive in 2015. He was named the Belfast Telegraph’s Young Business Person of the Year 2015 and in 2016 named International Director of the year 2016 at the Institute of Directors Awards. Gareth is a visionary who is passionate about developing excellent Client relationships and ensuring Mascott provide highest standards of project management and delivery.

Jonathan Payne

Jonathan Payne

Jonathan joined Mascott in 2019 as Managing Director.
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building, Jonathan is passionate about training and professional development of the staff and company being instrumental in Mascott attaining Chartered Building Company status and becoming a Training Partnership with the Chartered Institute of Building.
Jonathan’s open and collaborative management style instills a strong teamworking environment within Mascott, promoting every project’s journey is as important as the journeys end.

Mark Hanna
Construction Director

Mark Hanna

Mark joined Mascott in 1992, as a Quantity Surveyor and quickly progressed into senior contracts management roles, eventually being appointed Construction Director in 1998.
He is a skilled communicator and with his extensive knowledge of construction and innovation, brings a unique perspective when working closely with Clients, Project Managers and design teams and engenders confidence throughout the various stages of the construction process.

Gerry McEvoy

Gerry is a founding member of Mascott from the company’s formation in 1987.
With a lifelong career in quantity surveying, Gerry’s commercial knowledge and extensive business acumen is a vital backbone of wisdom and support both in the boardroom and to the staff within Mascott. His attention to detail in preparing bids and management of projects as they commence both commercially and managing site resources, has been vital in the success in the various frameworks and social housing contracts Mascott has undertaken.

Johnathan Lath

Johnathan Lath

Johnathan is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and joined Mascott as Financial Controller in 2019.
Having worked in the construction sector with some of the UK and Irelands largest companies Johnathan brings a wealth of experience in systems and processes to ensure the integrity of company information. Johnathan is an active member of Chartered Accountants Ireland having been a guest speaker at some of their events and spent time on some of their regional committees.

Geraldine Conway

Geraldine is a highly motivated and meticulous Commercial Manager with considerable experience from working on both large scale and smaller intricate projects.
Dedicated, meticulous, plus a considered view on opportunity and risk are attributes that sum up Geraldine.
With a proactive and interactive approach to commercial management of her team and projects Geraldine ensures Clients and their design teams have confidence in our cost reporting and forecasting through clear and demonstrable cost reporting on progress and final accounts.

Stephen Nevin

Stephen is a highly skilled and dynamic construction manager with a long career in construction which commenced from a joinery trades background.
Well respected by colleagues and everyone he works with, Stephen’s past experience brings a particular attention to detail as designs develop and works progress on site. He has a wealth of knowledge in all areas of construction and a “can-do” attitude which he instills to his teams on site.

Kevin Sage

Kevin has a wealth of experience in Design and Build projects and brings his excellent communication and design appraisal skills, along with his in-depth engineering knowledge to ensure best design solutions are incorporated into the final contract proposals.
Another of Kevin’s strengths is bringing his logical thinking and approach to the development of construction programmes through clear forward thinking, planning and collaboration with designers and supply chain.

Kevin McGarry

Kevin joined Mascott in 2019 with a vast experience from over 40 years in construction and engineering.
Kevin ensures our overall management and delivery processes meet and exceed all legal requirements specifically applicable to Mascott and that every project is properly assessed with clear sign off and control procedures adhered to.
From Kevin’s clear direction, advice and continual improvement reviews, he and his team ensure we regularly exceed expectations in our ISO audits.

Building Surveyor

Scott Montgomery

Scott joined Mascott in 2019 and is responsible for undertaking on-site property surveys and producing detailed reports on any identified defects or remedial works required.
His excellent technical knowledge and communication skills combined with a logical and practical thought process, gives our clients and key stakeholders confidence in his recommendations.
A team player, Scott works collaboratively with our contracts and surveying teams ensuring required works are fully planned and delivered efficiently on site.

Trevor Bar
Senior Estimator

Trevor Barr

A Fellow of the CIOB, Trevor has over 40 years estimating experience for projects across the UK and Ireland and further afield.
Trevor manages the estimating team for Mascott ensuring development and submission of accurate, analytical cost estimates and tenders.
His calm professional approach to the management of our key supply chain and interaction with clients and their design teams engenders confidence throughout the tendering and negotiation processes.

Paul Harkin
Bid Manager

Paul Harkin

Paul joined Mascott in 2018 bringing over 15 years’ experience in management of major bids throughout the UK and Ireland. His qualifications in Town & Regional Planning and NEBOSH Health & Safety brings a very methodical and precise approach to all our bids.
Paul’s excellent communication skills and a carefully planned, interactive approach to the pre-construction management process, is an integral part of our successes in many tenders, with clear, concise and accurate qualitative submissions at both prequalification and tender stages.

Noel McKee

Noel joined Mascott in 2019, bringing an extensive knowledge and business network from a long career in pre-contract bidding, negotiation and business development throughout the UK and Ireland.
An outgoing, personable character, Noel brings clarity and confidence in meeting with Clients and giving presentations on Mascott’s approach, ethos, skills and experience.
A Fellow and Trustee of the Chartered Institute of Building, Noel is passionate about company and staff development, willing to mentor staff in their careers, offer advice and support the training functions of the company.
